Chapli kebabs are flat kebabs with a unique flavor. This traditional dish of Pakistan uses simple spices and ingredients. It seems like a basic hamburger patty but it’s not, the consistency is totally different. These kababs are juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside with a delicious taste!

  • 1 pound minced meat (get one with most fat content)
  • 3 small onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, peeled, deseeded and finely chopped
  • 1 bunch of fresh chopped coriander
  • 1 tbsp red chilli flakes
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • Garlic Ginger paste
  • 8 green chillies, finely chopped
  • Dried pomegranate seeds
  • Coriander seeds crushed
  • Cumin powder
  • 1 tbspn of Carum seed (ajwain)
  • 1 egg
  • flour
  • salt, to taste
  • black pepper
  • 2 cups of vegetarian cooking oil for grilling/shallow frying
